Bagby Invasion

Last Sunday in beautiful, balmy sunshine, Bagby Airfield was invaded by eleven motor gliders. From Germany (D), France (F), Holland (PH) the brightly coloured machines lined up to refuel on their way to their final destination of Kirkwall (Orkneys). All members of a European Motor Glider Club who each year visit a different country, the crews were delighted with the friendliness and professionalism that they received from the Bagby Airfield staff which enabled them to continue on their way in record time.
