Gardening at Thirsk Community Primary
At the end of March, Thirsk Community Primary School held a competition to design a tabard for children to wear whilst working in the School’s Gardening Club. Eight designs were chosen out of sixty four entries. The tabards were then made and embroidered by parent governor Mrs Ann Akers. The eight winners are seen here with Mrs Akers parading their winning entries. Some of the children from the Gardening Club subsequently visited Thirsk Garden Centre to learn about different varieties of plants. Full Article Archived News View All...
