Ladies bring light to our town a second time

Sponsor a lightbulb in aid of Thirsk Christmas LightsEach year at the end of November, Thirsk Market Place is transformed by its wonderful Christmas Lights.The lights are funded by Thirsk Chamber of Trade who raise money through various events to pay for them, as well as supporting other local charities.To help raise that money for the second year we are hoping that people will help out by sponsoring a lightbulb.  To do this all you need to do is pop into either Thirsk Tourist Information Centre, White Rose Books or White Horse Cafe, pay your £1.00 and fill your name in on a gift tag. We will also be selling these tags at The Craft Fair which is being held at The Golden Fleece this Sunday. These tags will then be displayed on a tree at St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Exhibition.
