Panther Continues Expansion with Higher Platforms Thirsk

Panther, the UK’s leading supplier of local, reliable access is pleased to announce the completion of its re-branding programme, with Higher Platforms Thirsk becoming Panther Thirsk from 1st October 2008.Panther Thirsk has a very strong local reputation with businesses throughout Yorkshire, and will retain its focus on close customer relationships, along with maintaining the same familiar team of experienced staff from the local area.Higher Platforms has also brought a further two successful and well-established branches to the company: Panther Basildon and Panther Cannock.The addition of these depots and their fleet of over 450 machines - including the largest range of gas powered machines in Europe - takes the Panther total to 3600 units available from 13 depots, providing greater choice and wider UK coverage for customers. Leigh Farmer, Panther Midlands & North Managing Director commented: “Since starting Higher Platforms in 1992, the company has supplied a unique range of powered access equipment from its strong regional branches, including Thirsk; this established branch is managed by Daniel Williamson, who can now bring the benefits of Panther’s national experience to our staff, suppliers and customers, whilst continuing to supply Yorkshire with an even better local, reliable powered access service.”Panther Group Managing Director, Richard Miller added: “Higher Platforms, along with Kestrel Powered Access and AMP Access in the South West, bring the new Panther structure to completion.
