Pilot Makes Heroic Landing
Last Saturday, at about 7pm, a light aircraft travelling from Hertfordshire to Bagby was forced to make an emergency landing just outside Easingwold. The aircraft, which clipped a hedge during the procedure, came down in a field behind Spinks Farm (now Prospect Farm Persimmon housing development) on Thirsk Road, which runs parallel to Raskelf Road.
