Two young swimmers have seen their training rewarded in a local competition.Eight year old Ruth Marley and Sebastian Jackson, aged nine, both received top honours in Thirsk White Horse Swim Team’s biannual Tadpole Gala held at Thirsk Swimming Pool.Consisting of only 25-metre (single length) races, the Tadpole Gala is held twice a year so that young swimmers are given the chance to take part in competitions in a friendly environment.Thirsk White Horse Swim Team trains daily at Thirsk Pool.
