Thirsk Sixth Form Senior Citizens

You may remember Thirsk Sixth Form students fundraising at their Autumn Fair mid-October. Some of the funds raised are put towards the Senior Citizens party which was held on Thursday 9th December. On the evening, hundreds of cups of tea were made, served alongside the range of cakes, biscuits and other sweet treats, made by Sixth Formers during the day of the event. After the food had been served, guests were treated to a range of acts from Sixth Form students. The all-singing, all-dancing, all-laughing entertainment was drawn to a close with some traditional carols sung by all guests and all students present on the evening. I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Mr Woodhead for donating the Christmas tree-especially at such short notice!
