Topcliffe Triumph
Year 6 led Key Stage 2 children at Topcliffe C.E. Primary School in an end of term production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. They gave a brilliant rendition of the famous musical illustrating their talents as singers, dancers, actors and set designers. The children had the packed audience smiling, applauding and weeping with pleasure.Alastair Barr bravely took the lead as Joseph with his beautiful coat made by the children and Mrs Laws. 57 children were involved from years 3 to 6. They shared out the roles of clear narrators, beefy brothers, head banging Ishmaelites, booming chorus, stern Jacob and the goat! Star players were Joss Badminton who rocked the audience as the Pharaoh with his side – kick, Mrs Truman cueing the music...Hit it Baby!This rousing production was directed by Year 3 / 4 Teacher, Mrs N Dunn, assisted by Mrs K Peirson Y 5 /6.
