Two New Kindles

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is pleased to announce the arrival of two new kindles. They were both generously donated to the school’s LRC by Hays Travel (Thirsk) and Paul Pybus (Branch Manager) delivered them personally on Thursday 12th July to the eager LRC Assistants. The kindles will be available for the students to borrow and take home like any other resource in the LRC; in the new school year. The students will be able to buy e-books for the kindles, providing the library doesn’t already have a copy. Miss Dixon said “The kindles are a great way to keep the LRC moving forward and students interested, as well as a way of encouraging reluctant readers”.
