Vale of York T'ai Chi Qigong Association
The Vale of York T’ai Chi Qigong Association held a free taster session at Thirsk Town Hall on September 3rd, enabling those who are interested in joining classes in Thirsk, Ripon and Easingwold to get a flavour of what is on offer. Sifu Pat Brooks hosted the occasion and various members of the Association led those present through a physical warm-up as well as static and moving exercises and a Qigong form, Still Fish Dances. The class broke into small groups for further study of the form (see picture) prior to watching a demonstration of Wu style T’ai Chi, to illustrate what can be achieved with practice.
