Thirsk Farmer And Amateur Boxer Harley Embarking On Professional Career

A young farmer from Thirsk who trains at Henry Wharton’s central York gym is looking forward to making his professional boxing debut on a Leeds show in October.

Harley Lovell recently signed a contract with coach Wharton who is now his manager as the eighteen-year-old enters the paid ranks.

“I’d boxed on Henry’s shows several times and having decided I wanted to be a professional boxer his was the obvious gym.

I immediately felt comfortable at Henry’s as the style of training fits well with my boxing style.
