Thirsk Furniture Shop Teams Up With Teenage Cancer Trust As Owner Prepares For London Marathon ...

A family-run furniture shop in Thirsk is supporting Teenage Cancer Trust with a special charity sale, as co-owner Josh prepares to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon to raise funds for the charity.

Furniture Traders, which has served customers across North Yorkshire for nearly two decades, will donate 10% of all profits from the sale to the charity as Josh works towards his £5,000 fundraising target.

The sale will run from March 23 to April 6, offering customers 20% off all furniture and up to 75% off clearance items.

The charity is close to Josh’s heart. In 2015, his best friend was diagnosed with leukaemia and received treatment on the Teenage Cancer Trust ward at St James’s Hospital in Leeds.
