Thirsk Netball Tournament Smashes Expectations!...

Sunday 31st August saw 9 fantastic teams take to the courts for the Thirsk Netball Tournament, all in support of our community fundraising goal: £3,000 for a 24/7 community defibrillator to be housed at Thirsk High School.

The weather held off (just!), and despite a light breeze, there was no shortage of goals, energy, and team spirit on the court.

Every team played each other in the morning before being split into two groups for the afternoon rounds.

Group 2 champions: Stokesley Netball Club.

Group 1 winners: After a dominant morning performance by Rockets (Darlington), it was Claro who made a stunning comeback after lunch to claim 1st place!

We were thrilled to welcome a team all the way from Nottingham - a real highlight of the day and a testament to the growing reach of our community netball spirit.
