Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers - Great North Success

On Saturday 12th of September, Esther Harrison, Ashley Dodgson and Joe Martlew raced the Castleton Show Run.

A 5.9-mile race that offers something different to the rest of the ‘Dave Parry/Lets Run’ summer fell series, still plenty of hills but only tarmac underfoot.

With no bogs, ticks, gorse or navigation to worry about, our mandatory kit was left in the car.

There was brilliant support from marshals (including Sarah Harrison and Paul Chapman) all the way round, helping everyone safely negotiate the series of cattle grids on route.
